Havre
Havre has
several historical sites including the H. Earl Clack Museum, the Railroad
museum, Havre Beneath the Streets, Fort Assinniboine, and the Wahkpa Chu'gn
Historical Buffalo Jump. The Bear Paw Mountains and one of the nations
largest county parks are ten miles south of Havre. The Bear Paw Battlefield
and Museum are also less than an hour away from Havre. For information

Montana
is near many of Montana's most popular attractions: Glacier
Park is three and on half hours to the west, the Missouri river breaks
are two hours south, Yellowstone
Park is six and one half hours away. A little over two hours away is
Great
Falls with the C.M.
Russell museum and the Lewis
and Clark Interpretive Center.
Montana offers many recreational activities including wildlife photography
and viewing. will
offer weekend field trips to students.
Montana
also offers fishing and hunting that is second to none, giving our students
opportunity to collect their own specimens for mounting.
